Shevat

Yesterday at sundown on Jan 25 began the Jewish month of Shevat began. The Jewish people have 2 calendars that they always follow. One is the secular calendar, which kings and governments use, kind of like our secular calendar which begins on Jan 1st, but their most important calendar, kind of like our liturgical calendar, is their sacred calendar, their ecclesiastical calendar. Shevat is the 11th month in the sacred calendar. Because it is the 11th month, it’s a month of transition from winter to spring. I believe that there are a number of things the Lord is saying to us through some of the elements, key elements, concerning Shevat, and I want to share those as a prophetic word for the body of Christ.
This is a month of transition, from Winter to Spring. Shevat is a time to celebrate that winter will soon come to an end, and that spring will soon be here. Glimpses of Spring and new life can be seen It’s the month of the tribe of Asher and the word “Asher” means happiness. Asher was also the 8th son of Jacob and the 2nd son of Zilpah, Leah’s handmaid. Of course the number 8 means “new creation” or “new beginnings”. This is a season where many people who have been stuck in the time of winter, a time of struggle and darkness, are going to be moving into a time of transition. This is where God is going to begin to supernaturally show you the springtime in the spirit in your life, and you are going to begin to realize that the season of hopelessness, the dark season, the frozen season, is coming to an end. You are beginning to see the first signs of life. It’s a time for the body of Christ, the people of the body of Christ, to see the light at the end of the tunnel. For many of you who have gone through a long winter, gone through a long time of struggle and battle where you’ve almost lost hope, and your emotions have been in the pit for a long time, your feelings have been in the pit for a long time, God is restoring hope. You are moving into a time of hope, where you are able to see the light at the end of the tunnel. You are able to see that you’re coming into a time of new beginnings and new creation. You are coming into a time where there’s going to be new fruit, new life, a time of spiritual spring. And you feel it, you’re going to see hope begin to rise up inside of you again as God restores and brings forth and births new creation, new beginning things in your life. Because it’s the month of the tribe of Asher, the word meaning “happiness”, happiness that may have been lost, you may have spent a long night in sorrow, but this is your morning and joy is being restored to you. You are coming out of a time of mourning, and you are coming into a time of morning, the time of hope, time of new life. The dark night is coming to an end and you’re seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and happiness is being restored to you.lots of people are going to see real breakthrough for people who have battle with the bark night of depression.
Shevat is a time of songs, it’s a month of songs and the song of the Lord is being restored to your heart. There’s singing being restored to your heart. Ephesians 5 talks about singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord. You’re going to discover that melody, that song rising up in you. It is being restored in you, and it may have been gone for a long time in the spiritual winter. In the Chronicles of Narnia, winter always spoke of the time when the enemy ruled. If you’ve ever seen or read the Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe, when people were in the wintertime, they were in the grips of the enemy, and the powers of darkness were ruling. But we are told that when Aslan showed his teeth, the winter had to flee. This is a time you’re coming into, where you’re coming out of the dark winter that you’ve been in for a long time, and some of you had thought that winter would never go away, that hope would never be restored, that the song would never be restored in your heart, that it would never be a spontaneous melody in your heart again. But Aslan is showing his teeth and the winter is beginning to go away and life is beginning to come forth again. This is a time of transition in your life, the time when you can see it. You’ve come to the edge of the Jordan and though you may still be in the wilderness, you can see the land of promise, you can see the land of inheritance, you can see the purposes of God, the promises of God, you can see that they’re real, they’re for you. You are soon about to cross over, to come into that place. You can see the new beginnings, you can see all the things that God is doing.
This is also a time when historically, Deborah the prophetess in Judges and Miriam, the prophetess, are remembered. Deborah’s song in chapter 5 is the song for you to meditate on and grow from. Miriam’s song in Exodus 15:21 is a song for you to meditate on as God is bringing you out of wintertime and bringing you into spring, life and restoration. Miriam’s short song “Sing to the Lord, for He is highly exalted, the horse and his rider, he has hurled into the sea”. This is just a song remembering the supernatural ability of God to deliver and set free from your enemies, from those who are pursuing you. This is your song, this is to be your song, the song of Miriam. And also Judges 5, the song of Deborah, which is also a song about victory and the enemies of God being defeated. So though it may have felt like the enemies of God had set up camp in your life, in the land of your life, maybe for a long time, again, the winter of defeat is coming to an end and you’re about to cross over into the land of freedom, the land of victory and fruitfulness, life and new beginnings, new creations.
During this time also, particularly this month of Shevat, we’re going to see Deborahs rise up, we’re going to see Miriams rise up. There’s a real anointing on women who are called of God to minister prophetically, to give forth words, you’re going to see on an international level powerful women of God who are prophetesses, just speaking the word of God prophetically, profoundly giving revelation that God has given them. If you are a woman of God who has a prophetic anointing, this is the time to really seek the Lord, to get His heart, to get His word and to proclaim the things that He says to you.
Shevat is also a time of trees, a time where God is taking people out of those fragile seasons where they felt like they were so weak and so unstable and establishing them as oaks of righteousness. As you move out of this wintertime into a time of fruitfulness, harvest and new life, you’re going to discover that there’s a stability, there’s this strength in you that is supernatural, that God has accomplished. During this winter time, when it all felt like it was loss, felt like it was battle and defeat, in reality God was causing the roots of your life to go deep as you clung to Jesus, as you clung to Him during this wintertime and as God brings you into this new season of new life, you’re going to discover that suddenly, God has done something in you that you didn’t realize was happening because He had drawn your roots so deep into Him, because you had to be so utterly dependent on Him in this time, that you’ve come out of this place as an oak of righteousness, rooted very deep so that the storms of life can’t blow you over. This is a time of trees, a time of God establishing in people the spirit of an oak of righteousness. This is also a time when those of you who’ve been called to ministry, you’ve labored in the fields, maybe for many years, and God says there’s going to be a great anointing on you and those people that you’ve sown into, people you thought maybe would never “get it”, and maybe you felt like you were supposed to give up on them, you’re going to discover that they’re going to start becoming oaks of righteousness and you’re going to see it.
I also believe the Lord has said during this time over the next season we’re moving into, that Shevat is declaring to us that God is going to be raising up young oaks of righteousness, young people in their 20’s and 30’s, oaks of righteousness. He is going to plant them in Israel. They are going to be strategic plants of God, His light, His salt in that land as they go through this time in their lives of great darkness and great light. He is going to plant oaks of righteousness there to stand and provide shade. This is also a time, during this month of Shevat, during this next month in particular, where there’s going to be a lot of connecting, a lot of long distance connecting. God is going to be connecting you with people that have been out of your life for many, many years. He’s just going to supernaturally put them on your heart, put you on their heart. You’re going to come across them in some way. God is going to be reconnecting and if that happens, you know it’s the Lord. If He puts someone on your heart, you follow up on that, there’s a righteous and strategic reason to it all.
During Shevat, one of the things that the people of God did, in Deut 1, is that Moses recited and took the people through the Torah, the Pentateuch, the 5 books of Moses before they crossed over into the land so they would remember the word of the Lord and even today, among Jewish people, during Shevat, the scriptures of the first 5 books are read and studied.
I believe that during this season, the Lord is going to be ministering the word of God. The word of God is going to be very tasty. This is a time for you to set yourself apart, to get into the word of God, to discover the depth, the joy of the word of God. It says this about Asher in Jacob’s prophecy over Israel: “As for Asher, his food shall be rich and he shall eat royal dainties”. I believe that during this season, the word of God is going to be very rich like a royal dainty, it’s going to be very powerful. In Ez 42: 13, it says,” Then he said to me: the north and south rooms facing the temple courtyards are the priest rooms, where the priests who approach the Lord will eat the most holy offerings”. I believe this is a time, particularly this month, when the word of God is opened up like a banquet table and you’re going to discover the word of God to be very tasty, like royal dainties and God is going to allow you to eat the most holy things. This is a time of revelation to come forth, particularly from the word of the Lord, for you to get alone with God and just expect Him to feed you the richest stuff. It’s going to be very tasty. You are to taste and see that the Lord is good in His word and take advantage of that. I also believe that during this month, there’s going to be a particular anointing for healings to come to people who have stomach issues and for people who deal with issues with the esophagus.
This Shevat is very important. Allow hope to rise up in you. Allow the Song of the Lord to rise up. Spring is just around the corner.

The number 12 is the number that represents Government. I believe that the Holy Spirit has shown that in this year of 12 we are going to begin to see a lot of change in government both in the natural and the spiritual. Governmental structures and leaders are going to shift. There were a lot of changes last spring in the Arab world, but even there, though Governments were torn down, new leadership has yet to be established. In this season other structures will be pass away, but new leaders and structures will be established. Again this will be true also in the Body of Christ. Past leaders will pass on and God will raise up new leaders and structures for this time and season. The enemy will try to compete to place his appointed in both the natural and the spiritual. We must discern the purposes of God in this strategic season and pray for God’s appointed to be established. God is bringing everything into order to contain His purposes on the Earth. We will be watching Jehovah moving the pieces on he board.

Tomorrow, 12/11/11, is an amazingly significant day in the spirit. On this day we will pass through into a season of extraordinary harvest. Many will begin to harvest promises from God, and the purposes of God, that they have been standing in faith for; some for years, and years. Many prophetic people have spoken about this during 2011. 2011 has been a year of transition. 11 is a number of transition and expectation. This year is the year of the elevens, and has been a year of transition and expectation prophetically. There has been so many stunning events happen during this past year. I’ve never seen anything like it. So many have spoken about this year as we have moved toward the season of fulfillment. 
One of the most important words I have ever gotten was on 3/9/11 about 3/11/11 and beyond. On 3/11/11 the Japanese Earthquake and Tsunami occurred. From that day nothing but record setting events in the natural have continually been happening. All of this prophetically declaring that we are in a 3/11 time. This awesome season is just the foretelling of this moment in prophetic history that we are about to move into. It’s like pregnancy. Beginning on 3/11 something came alive though not fully birthed. There have been amazing signs of life, but the prophetic child has not been fully seen. It has grown and is undeniably there but yet to be fully birthed. Tomorrow is birthday. Prophets from all over the world have spoken about 2012 and the years beyond as being a great time of harvesting the presence, power, and purposes of God. I believe the new year already began at Advent; the beginning of the Christian New Year. 12/11/11 is exactly 9 months after the word that the earth was impregnated with on 3/11. The Gestational period is over, and tomorrow the birthing occurs. “The Eleventh Hour “time is about to become the ”The Clock Strikes Twelve” time. 
If you haven’t heard about the phenomenon concerning 2011, that I believe is a stunning confirmation about all that has been said by so many concerning this year of the 11′s. Here it is. If you add the the last 2 numbers of your birth year to your age it will add up to 11, or 111. That is true about everyone on Earth. Here is an example. My birth year is 1952, and I am 59. Add 59 to 52 it comes to 111. Again, this is true about everyone on Earth. Amazing, amazing, confirmation. This happens every 800 years. The last time it occurred was 1211. Wow, tomorrow is 12/11. There will be continual warfare, signs, and shaking. The darkness may get much darker but the light is going to get much brighter. Lots of shifts. More about that in other words. It’s no surprise that many have fallen during this year as Satan has desperately tried, and in some cases succeeded in keeping people from their “Twelve O’clock” time. There may be a sign announcing the birth, so keep you eye to the sky prophetically.

We are coming into a season of harvest.  Many will harvest the promises and proclamations.  Those who have been harvested and winnowed by the Holy Spirit and have been to the threshing floor will be accelerated into the purposes of God for their lives.

Those who fear is it too late for you, you need to know that we are coming into a season of “The God of Another Chance.”  It is a time of extravagant grace for those whose hearts are late to race for the glory of God.

Your fate for this next season is only sealed by your desires and actions.  This is a time of extreme favor and opportunity.  Satan has told you that your opportunity has passed you by.  When will you ever learn that he is a liar, even the Father of Lies?  The door called “The Opportunity of the Lord” is yet open to you.

Enter into this remarkable season of fulfillment and fullness.  In this season many will eat the fish’s head.  They will fulfill their destiny, which can only happen as they become the head and not the tail.  They will shake off the spirit of defeat, abandonment and rejection, and will rise up into their Blood bought place.

Promises that seemed to have died, even by our own fault, will come to pass, even if God has to raise them from the dead.

In this season many will move from watchers to winners.  This will be a season of extraordinary grace and favor.  Others will be moved by your story.

This will be a time of sweetness where you will be the head and not the tail.  Many will take off the rags of guilt and shame that they have worn for years and put on the robe of righteousness, and the garments of praise.

In this coming season love for the Bridegroom will grow in the bride and give birth to the fear of the Lord. This holy awe will be the vehement flame of the Lord capturing and consuming our hearts to the burning stage of union with His.

This is going to be a time of not just more, but much more.  Many will come into the extreme liberty and extreme obedience.  They will find the joy and release of utter helplessness before their God.  Jesus as King – Jesus’ kingdom will move from head to heart.

People will move from struggle to simplicity and rest in their obedience.  They will become supernatural lovers, who will have the spirit of the widow and her mite.  The will give their last to the least; their all to the small.  They will find rivers of anointing flowing out of their bleeding hearts.

During this time the harvest, the glory and the power of God will overtake our sowing.  Jesus will be immersing (baptizing people) into the baptism called “The Character of Christ.”

Solutions from God for impossible things will happen out of nowhere.  It will be a time of launching out into.  The way up will be down, and the way out will be in.

The beauty of the Lord will be our song.  We will dance the two-step of the two great commandments.  There will be lots of children coming home.

Crisis after crisis will continue to spring up in nations.  God is after ashes.  Every nation on this earth has been seeded with intercession.  The earth will continue to tremble as Jehovah breaks open the fallow ground.

Elul (a follow up to the new season) 8/31/11

Today we enter into the month of Elul. It is the 12 month(last month)in the Jewish civil calendar. Like all of the names of the Jewish calendar,it was broughtnback from the Babylonian exile. In Aramaic it means “search”, and it originates from the word “harvest”. The Talmud says that the Hebrew word Elul can be expanded as an acronym for “I am my beloveds and my beloveds is mine” S.S.6:3. It is literally translated in Hebrew as “I am to my Beloved and my Beloved is to me” the idea being that I am everything to my Beloved and my Beloved is everything to me. Elul prepared the people of God for The Days of Awe that begin with Rosh Hashanah(Jewish new year, and Day of judgement, sunset September 28)through Yom Kippur(Day of Atonement, sunset October 8). It is a season of repentance and searching and harvesting the heart of God. It is much like lent. Prophetically it is a time to prepare our hearts in this 11th hour for all that God longs to do. This word has been given by so many prophetic people. I believe the clock strikes twelve on 12/11/11 which will be exactly 9 months after 3/11/11 when God impregnated the spirit realm with this new 3/11/season. At the heart of the 3/11 season is Ruth 3/11 and Matt.3/11. There has been lots of signs in the natural of a travailing for all of God. The Lord has been trying to shake off all the apathy that would keep people from seeking Him with all their heart. 12/11/11 is in the middle of advent, which is the beginning of the Christian new year. This season will be fully birthed at that time after these nine months of growing life. We have seen some real manifestations of that life during these months. That baby has been really active in the womb but we will see the full birthing and growing beginning in Dec. And into 2012 and beyond.
This brings us back to Elul. I’ve called this a new season and I guess it is, but I guess it is more like a stage. It is time to “SEARCH for and HARVEST” the heart of the Lord like never before. He is definitely searching for and desiring to harvest more of our heart during this time. Many will discover in transforming ways that the are EVERYTHING to Him and that He is EVERYTHING to them. It’s THE SEASON OF THE BELOVEDS. It is an Exodus 33-34:9 time where you will discover how indispensable His presence is, and that His presence is the one thing you cant live without. It is a season of repentance and romance(you can’t separate the two).During Elul Noah dispatched the dove and 6 days later the dove came back with an olive leaf. It’s a Dove and Olive(doves and olive oil both being symbols of the Holy Sprit)time for man. Also September 24 is believed to be the first day of creation by Jews. I believe we will see a lot of creative things flow from the heart of God. Even creative miracles.
The tribe most tribe most associated with Elul is Gad. He is the seventh son of Jacob and he himself had seven sons.(the number of perfection,and in the world the number of good fortune). Gad means good fortune and I believe that during this time many of you will have good fortune in the spirit but also literally. There will be some real financial breakthroughs.
As I mentioned on the 23rd there will also be increased warfare during this time. Don’t take take that lightly. Our protection is going to be the Beauty of the Lord. Ps.27 is our place of refuge. Make the ONE THING in your life to seek His face and behold His Beauty. Cultivate the Beauty of the Lord. That is our protection. I will write more about that later. Be a Ps.27 beast during this time. I’ve been looking for a sign in the natural during these days 29th-31st and there yet may be another one, but I believe that on Saturday the Lord told me it would be New England. I heard today that Vermont is experiencing it’s worst flood in a century. Gentle brooks and streams have become roaring rivers. Many towns have been devastated and cut off. No power,no phone service, no food, or water. Today the national guard started airlifting food and water to these people. As we pray for these people in the natural as they deal with this
heartbreaking disaster, we also can see prophetically god reminding us that we will see entire towns experiencing the flooding waters of the Holy Spirit. Even the smallest and most isolated places who have had faithful intercessors crying out for more will have water to swim in. What a prophetic sign that was in New York when that nutty man swam down his street when it flooded. Well I know this is a lot, but it has been building and unfolding for about a week.

I will post more about this later in the week,or first of next week, but I feel compelled to go ahead and share briefly what I’ve seen and heard. Aug.29-30 begins a new season in the spirit with new opportunities to propel forward and new strategies from the enemy being released as we move down the home stretch toward the TIME OF REALIZATION in 2012. Ps.27 will be our strategy during these days of fury. This last quarter can be glory and image bearing time if the Beauty of Christ is our protection. Awesome time. Game On!!!!

Around 6/7 :Who’s afraid of the big bad wolf?

I believe one morning, while I was in prayer, before I served Eucharist, the Lord began to speak to me as I was hearing the tune of the song “Who’s afraid of the big, bad wolf, the big bad wolf, the big bad wolf”. So I looked up the history of the 3 little pigs and found the story to be totally different from Disney’s. God had something to say prophetically, that we are in a season where God is teaching us not to be afraid of the big bad wolf. In the original story of the 3 little pigs, the first pig had a house made of straw and when the wolf came, he huffed and puffed and blew the house down….and then ate the pig. The wolf went to the second pig’s house which was made of sticks. He huffed and puffed and blew that house down too, and ate the pig. When he went to the third little pig’s house, his was made of brick and built on a foundation. So the wolf tried to lure the pig out, tried to deceive him, but the pig wouldn’t come out. So he huffed and puffed and tried to blow the house down but it stood solid. So the wolf decided to come down the chimney. But in the hearth, the pig had built a nice big fire and hanging over the fire was a pot filled with water that was now boiling. So when the wolf came down the chimney, he fell into the pot and was cooked and then the pig ate him.
In Psalm 7 verse 15, it says: “he has dug a pit and hollowed it out, he has fallen into the hole which he has made and his mischief will return on his own head and his violence will descend on his own pate”.
We are living in a season where if you built your house of brick, if you’ve built your house on the rock, which is Christ, if your hearth, spiritually speaking, has a roaring fire in it, if your heart is passionate for Jesus, if you are falling in love with Jesus more and more, if you’ve built a large fire in the hearth of your heart for Jesus, the enemy will be destroyed by his own plan. Instead of eating you, you will end up eating him; he will be boiled alive, he won’t be able to penetrate your house because of your heart being on fire for Jesus and that is your protection.

Holy Scribes 6/8/11

God is raising up in this generation holy scribes, many of who will write in this country, in particular anointed books. May of these books will appear as ground breakers, spelling out clearly the purposes and ways of God like never before. Men and women, who like Paul, have been to the 3rd heaven and in the innermost chambers of the heavenly places of God, will report what they have seen and what they have heard. Even though there have been thousands and thousands of books written about Christ, and about God and his ways, there is already appearing a fresh anointing, a people of insight into the innermost places of the heart of God and insight into the ways of God, and they are able to spell them out, like a,b,c,d so that people can see and understand things more clearly than before. Anointed writers are being raised up in this country and they are going to write books that give clarity like never before. This is the anointed generation to spell out things in the spirit that create 20/20 vision because it comes from a place of 20/20 vision.

There once was a stronghold for pirates off the coast of Jamaica called Port Royal and it was built on a little island, right off the coast of Jamaica, where Kingston is now located. There were so many buildings there, it looked like buildings were hanging off the island over the water. As we know, pirates are thieves and their job is to kill, steal and destroy that which belongs to others. A very perfect type of the work of the enemy and the powers of darkness. In the 17th century, in the 1600’s, there was a massive earthquake that occurred in that area and as a result of it, there was a huge tsunami which swept over the island. The people who had built the city of Port Royal thought they had built it on a rock bed island, but they discovered, after the earthquake and tsunami, that they had actually built the city on multiple layers of sifting soil. As the tsunami swept over the island, the land underneath literally melted away into liquid and the whole island was destroyed. The stronghold of the pirates was devastated and destroyed.

The prophetic word is this: that we have a pirate, and he and his army have killed, stolen and destroyed. There are things in our life, strongholds in our life that we think are embedded in rock, that we think are never going to go away, never going to change, that we are never going to change, that we are never going to get set free from this, but the reality is that we can be set free and what God is doing is that there are many of you out there who are experiencing personal earthquakes, just things in your life that are shaking and it’s not very comfortable and not much fun. But the result of that earthquake is that God tends to draw you so into His presence, that you will experience a tsunami in the spirit, a wave of the spirit that will so overwhelm you, and so transform you, that it will also destroy what you thought to be embedded strongholds of the enemy.

What you will discover is that your life is built on the rock named Jesus. But the stronghold the enemy built wasn’t embedded on solid rock at all, but on sifting soil and that stronghold just melts away as the enemy, the pirate of your soul, is being swept away.

This is a season where God is using earthquakes in your life to bring about a tsunami of the spirit in your life, that will sweep away what you thought to be the embedded strongholds of the pirates who have been killing, stealing and destroying in your soul for way too long.

The 2 most important days in the satanic calendar for satanic worshippers are Halloween and May the 1st, known as May Day. The may-pole dance that children participate in is a demonic act of worship. On this day, May 1st, one of the 2 most evil days in the satanic calendar, Osama Bin Laden was killed. Also, on May 1st 1945, it was reported to the world that Adolph Hitler was dead.  If you were to ask almost anybody in the West who the two most evil men of the last 100 years were, almost all would say Hitler and Osama Bin-Laden.

The word “mayday” also represents something among seamen and pilots; the word “mayday” is a word of desperation, distress, that if you are in a life-threatening situation, the call is “mayday! Mayday!”

The word the Lord showed me is that we are in a time where ancient terrorists, that have terrorized our lives (that Osama Bin-Laden and Adolph Hitler represent), ancient terrorists who we thought would never go away, who would never stop terrorizing our lives (and we certainly never thought Osama Bin-Laden would ever get caught, we had pretty much given up on that), these evil ancient terrorists, these things that are lies, these things that have terrorized us for years, that we thought we would never get free from, the Lord is saying that if we will continue our desperate cry to Him of “mayday! mayday!”, we will see even suddenly, these ancient terrorists being destroyed and we being set free from their torment and their terrorism in our lives.
