Update on the word “The Big One”

Encouragement for all you Intercessors

A dear friend helped me realize something today. I got a word titled The Big One on 9/13. I gave a bunch of words to Someone to type up for me. Things slipped up on her and I didn’t get the words back to post until almost November. I almost didn’t post it because it was too late in the Hurricane season. You can read the update that I gave when I finally decided, out of obedience, to post it. Not many days later the storm hit Alaska. It was referred to as The Big One in the news, and a Bering Sea Hurricane, with winds up to 135 mph. The destruction predicted was to be almost catastrophic. In the end, the damage was bad, but not nearly what they were bracing for. I realize now that this was the fulfillment of that word, and that the damage wasn’t as bad because people were praying about The Big One. I would never had realized all this if my friend hadn’t brought to my attention to the name The Big One, and Hurricane given to the storm by the media. He remembered my word. Cool stuff. Prophecies are not nearly so much about the word given, but the opportunity given to people who hear the word to co-labor with God in shaping human history.

The Whole “Earth-Quakes”

Pay close attention. Whole lot of shaking going on.

Earthquakes

I got, and spoke this word yesterday. There are going to be lots of Geopolitical earthquakes around the Globe as God allows Nations to be shaken. Economies will be threatened and some will come tumbling down. Many people will take to the streets in many nations groaning for change. This is not just going to happen in poor or unstable countries, but also in those nations that we have historically thought of as stable. We have already seen this happen in places like Greece, England, and now in the USA. There will be more. It also offers a real, opportunity for revival, so let’s pray. To prophetically keep our attention about what’s really going on in this environment there will also be an increase in Geological earthquakes around the world. Some of these will happen in the strangest places where there has either never been a tangible earthquake or there hasn’t been one in a long time.
Yesteraday, the same day the word was given, the strongest earthquake to hit Texas in 45 years occurred. Epicenter was south of San Antonio, and could be felt in Austin. This morning, a 6.2 earthquake hit Hokkaido Japan. In the last couple of hours, 2 small earthquakes rattled Berkley Ca.

The Big One. 9/13/11

Hurricanes 9/13/11

I may have missed this one. I sensed this word on 9/13/11, but it is too important to not post it. Maybe others got it and intercessors already pushed it back. I should have posted it a month ago. It doesn’t hurt to pray just in case.

As we move closer and closer towards the heart of hurricane season and towards the end, I believe the Lord is showing me that the big one is not yet sprung up that could threaten America.  We need to pray and to intercede concerning that.

Flash Floods 8/1/11

About 4 weeks ago I believe the Lord showed me that we are going to see a lot of Flash Floods around the world. These are prophetic signs signaling Flash Floods in the spirit that are going to pop up in different places. These Flash Floods in the spirit are going to be brief expressions of revival in localized places. These moves of the Holy Spirit are genuine (yet still low levels) manifestations of Revival but they aren’t the big one that so many are looking and longing for. They are intended to wet our appetite for flood water, so that our desperation level will grow for something more; somethin bigger. The real deal, the 4* revival will spill out into the streets and change cultures in a geographical setting. Even waist deep water is not enough to satisfy our hope and His heart. All of these Of these Flash floods are good and accomplish much, but their greater purpose is to stir us up to believe in Floods and to cry out for and prepare ourselves (through fresh brokenness and surrender) for the flooding waters of the Holy Ghost river we so desperately need and long for.

Volcanoes 7/13/11

The Lord showed me that there was going to be numerous volcanic eruptions in this prophetic season as a sign that we are reaching the boiling point spiritually concerning the purposes of God. We are going to see explosive eruptions of the activity of God in signs and wonders. The compassionate heart of Christ will no longer be held back. Behind the scenes and under the surface there has been for years the activity of violent holy intercession and prophetic declarations that have brought things to this point. This boiling point. The enemy is desperate and is going to throw the kitchen sink at the saints to get them to back off. To SINK. He is going to bring ashes down on the saints, but he will fail, for many will rise up like the Phoenix out of their ashes, and in resurrection power, become the Overcomers they were called to be crying out with new unsinkable resolve to see the boiling over of the activity of God the whole world is longing for.

Dramatic Changes

A couple of months ago after the 3/11/11 Tsunami the Lord spoke to me that we were in a time where we should expect dramatic changes. I believe this to be both in the natural and in the lives of believers and the church as a whole. The operative word seemed to be DRAMATIC. The changes would involve real DRAMA. Not subtle stuff. a lot of the dramatic changes in the natural concerning events in and around the Middle East, and involve governments and governing. Its not restricted to the Middle East, but that seemed to be a cacao point. I believe the death of Usama Bin Ladin is a part of that. All of the uprisings in the Islamic countries are also a part of this. The interesting thing, is that the Lord said that these dramatic changes could be either good or bad, depending on what kind of Governments are put in place as part of the changes. The intercessions of the church do play a role in all of this. As those who are seated in the heavenly places in Christ, we do have influence and authority. To be seated in the heavenly places in Christ is to be in union with Him resting rule. 1Cor3 says that we are fellow workers with God. Rev.22 says that the Spirit and the Bride SAY COME. I know this has a primary meaning that is eschatological, but the principle of the Bride adding her voice to the Spirits’ and impacting the the movement of Christ can be applied to all our intercessions. The Lord is wanting the Church to rise up and claim her union with the ascended and enthroned Christ, and with the Spirit ask Christ to come in the times of change and begin to to establish His government(reign)in nations, communities, regions, churches, and lives. Dramatic changes are coming to all these arenas;even in our own lives. Will it be a good change or a bad one. Let’s create an atmosphere where the change of government whether it be in the natural or spiritual, whether it be people or peoples be a greater manifestation of the Gov’t of God. However and wherever the DRAMA begins to show up let us join The Holy Spirit and ask Jesus to come and establish His reign. The kind of change that occurs from these dramatic events will dramatically alter the way people in the natural view the world and reality. Nobody will ever think of the word Tsunami or Nuclear Plant the same way ever again. These are just examples. This will also be true in peoples personal lives spiritually as God deals with individuals. The dramatic change will bring about dramatic changes in the way we think, good or bad. An example is in our own State. The Tornadoes on The 27th of April brought about dramatic changes in a number of Communities. Will people come out of this with a renewed change toward God knowing HEAVEN RULES, or will they come out with bitterness and anger that alters their perspective on life forever. These are surely strategic times.

A Prophetic 3/11 Season

A PROPHETIC WORD FROM CHUCK JONES
I believe that we are in a very important spiritual and prophetic season, a 3/11 season. On either Feb 18 or 19th, at one of our noon services here in Selma where we usually have between 25 to 60 people everyday here, I gave a prophetic word that God put in my heart, that 3/11/11 would be a significant day on the earth and that events of 3/11/11 would reflect something going on in the spirit realm that was very big. On 3/9/11 which was 2 days before the earthquake and tsunami on Ash Wednesday, I gave another word that there would be an imminent occurrence of natural disasters, beginning imminently, immediately.
Then of course, on 3/11/11, we had the 2nd greatest tsunami that we’ve had in the last 6 1/2 years, as the result of a 9.0 earthquake in Japan. The no. 9 is the number of the Holy Spirit and this is again the 2nd greatest tsunami/earthquake that is in the top five of the strongest in recorded history.
The one that happened 6 1/2 years ago I believe, was the strongest. Often when Jesus is trying to say something in the Bible, he says “verily, verily” to get our attention. This is important, I believe we are in a “verily, verily” season. That we have now this 2nd tsunami.
7 years ago, many people didn’t know what the word “tsunami” meant, now everyone knows what it means. I believe that what happened on that day, other than the natural disaster, is that we entered into a 3/11 season. There are 2 scriptures reflecting what the season is all about. The first one is Ruth 3:11.
In the book of Ruth, Naomi encourages Ruth to go to the threshing floor where Boaz was, at the end of the barley harvest, to ask him to redeem their lives, to ask him to marry her. So Ruth prepares herself, finds Boaz, he’s asleep. She lays at his feet. When he awakes, he discovers who she is, and she asks him to be her kinsman-redeemer, to redeem her life, to marry her. Not only did she find Boaz not aggravated or irritated, but he thanks her for being there. He said to her in chapter 3, verse 11 not to be afraid, but that anything she asks him to do he would do for her. I believe that’s the season we are in, that God is saying to us “anything you ask me to do, I will do for you”. It’s time for us to believe Him for extravagant and extraordinary things, in signs and wonders. But there are pre-conditions. It’s not just that you can go to the Lord and ask him for anything. The pre-condition in Ruth is that the threshing floor, both there and it’s confirmed in chapter 3, verse 12 of Matthew, is a representation of repentance. The threshing floor is a place of separation, where the grain is separated from the chaff and separated from the dirt. It’s a place of surrender, repentance and brokenness and because Ruth was laying at the feet of Boaz, in a surrendered mode, it was that attitude of hers that rendered his heart vulnerable and that he could say “whatever you ask me to do, I will do for you”.
The pre-condition for us living in this place where we are like under an open spigot of the extravagant favor of God, is that He finds us at the spiritual threshing floor, laying at his feet with renewed brokenness, renewed desperation, renewed surrender and a renewed commitment to live a repentant life. That’s the pre-condition that in that attitude, we have rendered his heart so vulnerable that He says to us, “fear not, whatever you ask me to do, I will do for you”. That’s very exciting for me and it should be very exciting for all of us, that we are in this season where we can ask for extravagant things, if we have repentant surrendered hearts before Him.
God wants us to move in signs and wonders; it’s a testimony of the reality of His risen life. It’s really, and His resurrection being the season we are about to enter into, is the great sign and wonder of who He is and the Lord wants us, personally and in our parishes, to ask Him to move once again in our midst in signs and wonders. And He is prepared to do the extravagant thing if we are prepared to extravagantly lay at His feet with repentant and broken hearts.
Also, the other 3/11 is Matthew 3:11. This is where John talks about the ministry of Jesus as one of baptizing in the Holy Spirit and fire. And I believe that as we find ourselves at the feet of our Boaz, Jesus, our kinsman-redeemer, asking Him for extravagant things, that the first thing we should ask Him for, that is at the top of His list is that we should ask Him for a fresh baptism of the spirit and fire. We have several occasions where it says about Peter, in the book of Acts, where he was filled with the Holy Spirit again and again.
Sometimes we need an oil change and it’s time for an oil change.
The Patriarch talked about this being a time of renewal, asking God for renewal. Well to me, the word “renewal” and the word “revival” are the same thing, at a personal level and a parish level and at the top of our list, as we lay at the feet of Boaz, is that God would do a work in us, that we would know a fresh immersion, a fresh baptism of the Holy Spirit, and a fresh fire lit in our hearts for God.
Well, I commit this word to you, I pray this stirs your heart up like it stirred my heart up and it stirred the heart of those who have heard this word, that we would find ourselves rushing to the threshing floor with repentant and surrendered hearts. Asking our Boaz to do the supernatural and miraculous, extravagant things He longs to do in our lives.

Word on Wild Fires

Word on wildfires
Not too long after the 3/11 word, the Lord spoke to me again at our noon Eucharist, that Oklahoma was going to be in the news, because it was the Sooner state, and God was doing things “sooner” than later in this 3/11 season. Probably about a week later, it was on Fox news that wildfires had broken out in Oklahoma and I knew immediately that God was beginning to speak a word. The 3/11 word had 2 scriptures that were 3/11 related: Ruth 3:11, “Ask me anything you want, and I will give it to you”; the other one was Matt 3:11, where John speaks about Jesus’ baptism being the baptism of the Holy spirit and fire. I believe that God was saying that at the top of his list of things we should be asking for, crying out for in this 3/11 season is a fresh baptism of the Holy Spirit and in fire. I believe that the word about the wildfires in Oklahoma was God speaking to us that He wants to ignite in our hearts and in our parishes a wildfire. That can be a scary term to people who are afraid of charismatic things, because that’s what they fear, for the charismatic stuff to be out of control. But I do believe there’s a fire of the Holy Spirit that man cannot control, but it’s not flesh either and that God does want to create, not just a fire or a small fire, or a campfire, but He wants to ignite a wildfire in our hearts and one thing wildfires do, is they destroy man-made structures and that’s why people are so committed to try and stop wildfires.
But the truth is that in nature, wildfires accomplish good things; they burn up old brush and cause regeneration in the soil, just like people used to burn their yards during the winter because chemicals go down in the soil so that the next Spring, the grass would come up stronger and thicker. So, in nature, wildfires create good things, but men stop it because what wildfires do is destroy human structures and this is really God. God is saying in the spirit that He wants to ignite a wildfire in our hearts, in His church, in our parishes, like in Matt 3:11, in the baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire. In the process of doing that, when He does it, He will destroy all the structures that mankind has made. And by structures, I mean all the stuff of the flesh in our life, not the holy structures or traditions in the church, but man-made stuff, things that are of the flesh, things that we are doing in the flesh, things that we are trying to accomplish in the power of the flesh, that is what wildfires destroy. The spirit of God will be out of man’s control and will destroy the things that are man-made in our hearts and in our ministries.
Also, one of the things they did in Oklahoma was they assigned teams that went about looking for hotspots because when they thought they had the fires under control, they discovered a hot spot, a place where there were simmering embers and all it took was for the wind to blow and that hot spot would erupt into another wildfire. God said that he wants us to pray that our hearts, our churches would be hot spots, places that are always ready to explode into a wildfire, that all it takes if for the wind of the spirit to blow. So we are to ask the Lord to make our heart a hot spot. I think of the attitude of Ruth, where she was laying in a surrendered mode at the feet of Boaz, on the threshing floor, this place of separation, this place of cleansing and repentance. She lay there with a heart of repentance and absolute, total submission to Boaz; it is in that mindset that we need to have that broken, surrendered, repentant heart. That your heart is hot sport, or your church is a hot spot.
