Forward to a FriendI heard the Lord say this morning, “It’s time to stop window shopping. It’s time to stop living on the edges of reality.” Many of us have spent most of our lives window shopping the presence, heart, and purposes of God. It’s time to stop. Many of us have lived on the edges of the reality of the Glory of God, without plunging in. It’s time to take the plunge, and enter into the Glory Cloud, and purpose to live there. Window shoppers are forever gazing on things they long for, but won’t pay the price to obtain it for ourselves. It’s time to lay down the fear and obtain that Glory, that intimate Presence, that extravagant Destiny, that Heartbeat of Jesus forever ringing in your ear. On the Mount of Transfiguration the three enter into the cloud of Glory. They didn’t just stand on the edge of glory with curiosity and longing, they entered in. The Cloud is here. It has come down like a fog, in response to the praises of the One Thing Warrior Worshippers. They have made it easy for us. Go through the door. Run to the Cloud. Once captured, there will no escape from the furnace of His burning heart.

Self Denial 4/3/12
I saw in a vision people being led up to a fence by Angels. The Angels were wanting the people to look over the fence and see what was on the other side. On the other side of the fence was a beautiful, and bountiful land with rivers of mingled milk and honey flowing through it. I have never seen a more beautiful place. The people who were looking at this land that flowed with milk and honey were standing in a wilderness place. They were ancient, and worn looking. I asked the Lord what I was seeing, and He said that these were people who lived lives of self denial, not the denial of self, who had lived hidden away in the wilderness. They had lived many years unwilling to face the truth about their flesh. they had lived in denial for so long it seemed as if they were chained, and unable to face, and live in the truth. He said, “I am giving them the opportunity give up their self protection for all of His provision. The fence was called VULNERABLE. He is giving them a chance to gaze on His provision of life lived in the Land of Promise, longing to lure them to cross over the fence of vulnerable repentance, to live in the place of transparent freedom and joy. May the revelation of life more abundant overwhelm the spirit of self protection that has deceived many into believing that the wilderness is a safe place. I saw many laying down the chains of denial, and taking the merciful, and loving nail scarred of Christ, who was on the other side, and being lifted over into their land of favor and destiny.
Sunken Treasures 2/26/12
Sunken treasures
The Lord showed me that this is a time to discover sunken treasures. We are in a season of great revelation. That’s true of course, in terms of the month of Shevat in the Jewish calendar, but it even extends beyond that in that we are in a time in church history where the purposes and seasons of God are just really important so the people of God don’t just understand his acts, but understand his ways as well. And so he’s revealing his heart, revealing his ways, revealing the insights of his heart to his friends, like it says in John 15, that God has been working in the hearts of his church and he has set apart those who love him and who he calls “true friends”. When you have a friend, you disclose to them the secrets of your heart and God is doing that now; he’s teaching people his ways, revealing the secrets of his heart, those things that seem to be beyond apprehension and comprehension, the Lord is now making them clear. He is equipping people in the spirit realm to search and find things that they have searched for and not found for years. Just as treasure hunters can search and search, suspect hidden treasures, but never find them for many, many years. Now the Lord has equipped the body of Christ with spiritual equipment to be able to recover sunken treasures, insights of the heart of God that may have been misplaced or have been forgotten. One of the things that God is doing is revealing ancient things, uncovering and unearthing ancient wells, sort of sunken treasures inside of truths that God has spoken to his church for 2000 years, truths that the body of Christ has laid aside. We have walked in foolishness to think that this is the only generation that has really received a true revelation of God, and that’s a great mistake for us to make that puts us in harm’s way. The reality is when God speaks the word, a prophetic word, when he speaks a prophetic insights, when he gives a revelation, it is an eternal word. Everything that comes after, unless it’s for a particular generation which the Lord will make really clear if that’s true, whenever God speaks a word, whether it’s 2000 years ago or 10 years ago, anything new he speaks builds on those words, doesn’t replace them. God is not confused, he is not tossed to and fro. The Lord is building and building; his church is the temple, it’s his building block. In Ephesians 2, he’s building something in the house of God and those building blocks are all the things he has spoken and said to his people throughout the history of the church.
What happens to us is that we have a tendency, with every move of God, to forsake those things God has spoken in the last move of God. I’ve often heard that the greatest threat to the new move of God is the past move of God. But it’s also true that the greatest threat to the past move of God is the new move of God. What I mean by that is, when we move into a new place in the Lord, God is going to give us new revelation, a fresh revelation, to build on the one we’ve heard previously. The old move and the new move shouldn’t be at war with each other. The old move shouldn’t try to constrain the new move to stay where the old move has been, and the new move shouldn’t forsake and leave behind the spirit of the fathers in the old move of God, or it will be in error, doing either thing. To advance, the old move of God has to bless the new move of God, but to move forward, the new move of God must have the old move of God to go with it to build on. That’s the way this works and yet, we’ve been at war with each other and there’s been these 2 battles going on, like the old move wants it’s way and the new move wants its way too, but they’re kin to each other, they belong to each other. They must walk together with all the ancient relatives from every move of God previously, or we won’t walk in the full revelation of God. And so we see the Lord digging up ancient wells, discovering sunken treasures like the wonders of Eucharist, many things like that, ancient treasures. It talks about them a lot in Psalm 78. It talks about God uttering dark sayings of old, which we have heard and known and our fathers have told us. It says in Psalm 78:4, “we will not conceal them from our children, but tell the generation to come the praises of the Lord and his strength and his wondrous works which he has done’. It says, “for he established the testimony of Jacob and appointed the laws of Israel which he commanded to our fathers so we would teach them to our children, that the generation to come might know them, even the children yet to be born, that they may arise and tell them to their children”.
So you see here that the old things spoken previously and the new things spoken come together, belong to each other. We can’t survive without both of them, we have to have them both. It is so significant that in this time, when we are discovering hidden treasures, they are not just fresh insights, but they are going to be insights that have been old insights and we are going to discover God bringing the two together so the church can go forward in true fullness.
Sky Diving (Breaking the Sound Barrier)
Skydiving
I read this story, maybe a week or a week and a half ago where a man was going to attempt a skydive that no one had ever attempted before. He was kind of a dare devil guy and he had spent a lot of time in his life doing risky things, dare devil kinds of things. A lot of tests had been done over a period of months, to make sure someone could survive the kind of skydive he wanted to perform. What he wants to do is to skydive from 23 miles up in space, at the very edge of outer space and the expectation is that he will travel at a speed of about 760 miles per hour and will possibly break the sound barrier. That is his goal to break the sound barrier so of course, they have tested and prepared equipment for him that he can wear so as to survive the dive.
The Lord began to speak to me a word, that so many things he wants to do through us and do with us he cannot, because we are not willing to take risks and we are in a season now where God is teaching people to walk by faith and to walk by faith at such a level and to risk so much, that they are going to be like the skydiver; they are going to move in the spirit, on the edge of the spiritual outer space, they are going to move faster than they ever have before. They are going to break holy sound barriers in the kingdom of God, because of their risk taking. The sound barriers are things that few people have heard God speak before because few people have been willing to walk in that kind of faith, people are now going to hear more and more; it’s going to become more common; you are going to have these holy skydivers who are willing to risk so much in faith, willing to walk in faith at such a high level that God is now free to speak to them things, kind of like breaking the sound barrier, so the voice of God can now be heard speaking extravagant stuff. We all want to hear God speak, we all want God to use us in a powerful way, but most of us are just afraid to walk in faith at the level where God wants us to walk. God won’t speak things to us, extravagant things to us, if he knows we won’t step out in obedience and in faith in response to what he says. God is not going to waste his time saying things to us if he knows we are too afraid to own this from him because we are so afraid of the consequences, we are so afraid of falling on our face, afraid of being embarrassed, of being humiliated.
Well, we are at a time where we are going to have holy dare-devils, holy ones who will just be willing to fall, to skydive from the edge of spiritual outer space and travel at a speed they have never traveled before.
When the Lord called Israel out of Egypt, it says in Deut 6 that he brought them out to bring them in. His intention wasn’t to just bring them out of Egypt and for a whole generation to die in the wilderness, but his intention was to bring them into the land of Canaan, the land of promise, the land of their inheritance, flowing with milk and honey. It was only an 11 day trip from the Red Sea that God parted in Egypt to Kadesh Barnea on the edge of the Jordan to enter into the land of Canaan. But because of the report of the 10 spies who saw themselves as grasshoppers in the sight of those who lived in the land of promise, Israel spent 40 years wandering around the wilderness. Now understand, they didn’t go back to Egypt, they didn’t go back to a place where they were lost, but they never entered into all God had for them, they never experienced their inheritance. There were only 2 of those spies, Joshua and Caleb, who were willing to believe God because God had already spoken he had already given them the land, it was already theirs. It was just a matter of them stepping in by faith into the land and claiming what God had given to them. Joshua and Caleb were the only 2 of the 12 spies, who believed and a whole generation died out and Joshua and Caleb were the only fathers of that generation, who entered into the land, 40 years later. When they came into the land after Moses had died, the Lord spoke to Joshua in Joshua 1 v 3 and said to him, “every place that you put your foot, in other words, every place you walk in faith, I have already given to you”. And again, that is a resounding promise that God spoke in the book of Exodus, Numbers, Deuteronomy and again in Joshua, that it was already theirs, it already belonged to them. Even the people in Jericho, Rahab said had been waiting for 40 years because their hearts had melted, they knew that God had given the city to them; the enemy knew, but it was the people of God who wouldn’t own as substance what God had already spoken. In chapter 1 of Joshua, there are 3 different times the Lord says first, “be strong and courageous”; again he says, “be very strong and courageous” and then a third time, he says “be strong and courageous, do not be afraid and don’t be dismayed”. In all those places, he told them to be strong and courageous, he also said “I will be with you, I won’t fail you”.
But now hear what the Lord says here: instead of giving in to fear, you are going to have to walk in the kind of faith that’s going to own, that’s going to possess all the inheritance I have already given to you and possess it by faith. If you do that, you will have to walk in courage instead of fear and being dismayed by what you see and the opposition of the enemy, and the circumstances. You’ve got to walk in courage, to walk in the kind of faith that God wants us to walk in that will bring in the harvest that God wants to bring in both our own soul, for the purposes of God, and in the kingdom of God on the earth. We are going to have to be a people who don’t just walk in faith, but walk in courageous faith. We’ve got to be willing to risk failure. We’ve got to be willing to risk everything and if we are willing to be that kind of skydiver, who will skydive from the edges of outer space, we will break the sound barrier, if God will see in us the courage. Courage is not the absence of feeling that follows fear, courage is stepping out in faith regardless of how you feel and regardless of what you see. And if God can find a people, find a person who is willing to hear anything, they will break the sound barrier. God will speak to them extravagant things like, “say to that person,’ get out of your wheelchair’, or call a person to be raised from the dead, etc…etc… If you will look throughout the history of the church, look at the autobiographies of great men and women God used in extravagant ways, in great signs and wonders, every one of them was willing to be foolish, every one of them demonstrated in spite of fear, the courage to believe God for anything, to own as substance anything God said. Those are the ones who break the sound barrier, who hear God say to them the extravagant stuff. Remember: faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God, but the Lord won’t speak extravagant things or words if he knows we are not willing to display and demonstrate the courage to step out, even though we may hear something that’s audacious and to the natural, seems ridiculous.
This is a time, brothers and sisters, for us to skydive from the edges of outer space; this is a time for us to be prepared to break the sound barrier. It’s time for us that in faith, we step in those places and take those things that God has already given to us, time that we are willing to demonstrate the kind of courage that will allow God to speak the kind of things he wants to speak but couldn’t until now.
Life, Liberty, and The Pursuit of Holiness 11/28/11
I woke up this morning hearing the phrase Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Holiness. Our Declaration of Independence states “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” We have made happiness such a priority in our culture that we’ve forgotten how to get there. We’ve slipped into such self indulgence, that our pursuit of happiness has become, our personal declaration of independence. We believe we can do anything regardless of how God feels, or how it impacts others, as long as we are happy. Of course you never find it With that mindset. I can’t tell you how many Christians ignore the clear will of God, or twist the will of God to fit their pursuit of happiness. They usually have a pattern of doing this which has always ended up with them being more miserable than before.
Well, God is saying, especially to those in this culture, that the only way to know Abundant Life, and True Liberty, (which is relentless happiness) is to pursue holiness. Only in the Pursuit of Holiness can human beings find Effervescent Life, and Limitless Freedom. God isn’t against happiness. He loves for His children to be happy, as any Father would, and His love for us infinitely exceeds the love of any earthly Father. He delights in our joy and laughter. It breaks His heart to see us discouraged, and depressed. It’s our personal declaration of independence that has robbed us of our unalienable rights , as believers that have been endowed to us by our Savior, to experience Abundant Life, and celebrate True Liberty. If you find yourself once again miserable in your pursuit of happiness, then start pursuing Holiness. You might say how. Well, I saw in a vision a brilliant light illuminating an Ancient Glory path. He is making it easy in this season to find the Paths Of Righteousness. If you make Holiness your pursuit, He won’t let you miss the Path. We live in a Parting Path time. He is calling people to part with the Path of Declared Independence, and to walk on the Path Deliberate Dependence.
Dream Again
It’s time to rise up and try again. You must no longer allow the failures of your pass to label you as failure. It is time to fill your horn with oil go once again into the same battlefields where you the experienced failure in the past, but this time it will not be failure but victory in the name of Jesus. It’s time in the spirit of joseph to pick up the dreams that you once had, now thrown away. Those dreams have not died, they have been living and breathing all along, waiting for this fullness of time season for you to pick them up again. The enemy of your soul has tried to tell you all along that the real problem was that you hoped for too much. The problem wasn’t that you hoped for too much, but that you hoped for too little. But now your heart is ready to pick up the dreams again, and dream with a God sized vision this time. You were not a failure in the past, you were a learner. With the Banner of Christ, run to the battle with the song of victory on your lips. You will see the enemies of the past scattered, and your God given dream oiled for realization.
Firsts
We are in a time of Firsts. Many people who have been preparing themselves to be used by God any way He chooses, by simply walking in the Spirit everyday, are going to experience firsts. You will see your first sign and wonder. You will see your first healing, or have for the first time someone get healed that you pray for. You will get your first prophetic word, or word of knowledge, etc. you will lead your first person to Christ, or be invited to speak in a public setting for the first time. You will write your first book. It could be any area that represents Firsts in your life.
I also believe there is another element to this Firsts word. Joel 3, talks about a Valley of Decision and a time of Harvest. We are entering into a time of extraordinary harvesting. A time of harvesting the glory, and the promises, and the purposes of God. The level of harvest that you will enjoy is going to be totally dependent on what you do in the valley of decision. There are those who are still content to have a relationship with Christ that doesn’t involve radical surrender. This isn’t just true about individuals, but also Cities, and Nations. The decision in that valley is all about Firsts. Colossians 3:18, says, “He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the first- from the dead; so that He Himself might come to have FIRST place in everything. The KJV uses the word PREEMINENCE. Will you decide to make Christ FIRST, PREEMINATE in your life. The Lord spoke to me and said ” people want to partner with me, but I don’t want people to partner with me. I want people to fall down and worship me.” He wants to be the One Thing in your life. Not the only thing, but the One Thing. If, in the Valley of Decision you take you relationship with Him to a new level where He becomes FIRST, then you will have your harvest, but if not, you will stand on the sidelines watching other people reap their harvest in God. Some of you are actually in a valley situationally, and emotionally, because He is trying to press you to choose Him at a more exclusive level.
I believe we will see news reports about Firsts in the natural, as affirmation concerning both aspects of the word about Firsts.
Women Under Attack
Women Under Attack 8/30/2011
There have been prophetic voices recently declaring that we are coming into the year of the woman or the season of the woman. I concur with that, that God is rising up Godly women to fill different roles and to play significant roles. In light of that, I also believe that about a week ago the Lord showed me we are also coming into a time where powerful women of God are going to be under attack. When we normally think about people being under attack, it’s usually the enemy taking out Christian men and leaders, because of the whole headship issue and we’ve seen a lot of men fall. We are coming into a time where the enemy is zeroing in on powerful Christian woman, woman who have a real anointing, a real testimony, who are being used in the body of Christ and in the secular world. We need to pray for them. We need to pray for women just like we have done in the past for leaders and men. We need to pray for women, that they would be able to sustain their walk and testimony and have courage as they walk through the attack and the assault that is going to come against woman of God.
Night Vission
The enemy of our souls loves to operate in darkness as a deceiver. He does most of his damage unnoticed because people are insensitive to the Holy Spirits warnings and conviction. In this season, the Lord is healing our spiritual nerve endings so that we we become much more sensitive to the Holy Spirit exposing the covert activity of the enemy. Those who long to walk in the light will discover they have night vision and are able to see the enemy from a distance trying to stealth into the perimeters of their lives. If holiness and freedom are your passions then ask the Lord to give you NIGHT VISSION.
Young Generals 8/1/11
God is raising up young wartime Generals who are getting battle field commissions by the Holy Spirit. These are fearless young men who are sometimes even reckless. In the vacuum of old men afraid to dream dreams, the Holy Spirit is is revealing the dreams of Heaven(literally dreams) and releasing these young warriors who desire to fight for glory(the glory of God. His honor and His manifest presence). They live for the glory and glory will be medal.
Slaying the Anointing
This was an open vision where I saw the devil who looked exactly like the red devil on a can of deviled ham. He was totally red, you could hardly make out facial features, he had horns, a long red spiked tail and had a spear in his hand. In the vision, on the ground before the devil, was a yellow figure, shaped like one of those figures in a crime scene representation, when someone has died on the ground. The devil was about to spear this figure because he was laying down before him, obviously in submission and in hopelessness. The Lord showed me that yellow is the color of anointing and the devil is dressed in red, which is the color of fear, and fear is the great anointing slayer. Whenever someone gives in to fear, that’s the enemy’s way of stopping him from walking in the anointing, because you can’t walk in the anointing and live in fear at the same time. One of the old classic statements that I certainly didn’t make up that I heard years ago concerning living in the anointing, was that fruit happens out on a limb. If you are afraid of being rejected, if you are afraid of what people are going to think about you, if you are afraid of failing, if you are afraid of being embarrassed, if you are walking in fear at all, that is the devil slaying your ability to live in the anointing. Fear is the great weapon that the enemy uses to slay the anointing in all of us.

In the spirit of adventure and holy exploration, many on this continent will ascend the highest peaks in the spirit. They will reach places no one has ever been to before in North America. It is time for new heroes and heroines to rise up and scale new heights that have never been reached before in our culture.
It is time to ascend to new summits. In this season, we will stop reading about Saints that have gone before us, longing for their vision and their summits. It is time for new books to be written on this continent, and for new stories to be told. It is time to write new chapters, to do your own spiritual autobiography, for your story to be told that will inspire others to climb and ascend summits in the spirit that they thought could never be reached, especially by them.
You would think this word for the young and of course, the young are invited. But this is a word for those over 50 who have settled down in their hearts and no longer dream of the highest peaks. God is raising up seasoned explorer warriors who will shake off weariness and fear, regardless of apathy, who had increasingly thought about a life of ease and retirement, comfort and safety, who thought adventure is only for the young, something for a past season in their life. God is putting in the hearts of these experienced adventurers the desire to rise up, climb and explore again, risking all. This is the time to reach those summits they only dreamt about, but had lost hope of ever reaching. God says “You will reach the high one this time and the One who sits on high. The highly exalted one will be your accomplishment. There will be challenges, but you will transcend them all. In the spirit of Moses, you spiritual seniority citizens of the kingdom will go forth with the wisdom of experience in your bones, the fire of God in your hearts, a vision of Christ in your eyes, the word of the Lord in your ears, and ascend the highest summits of the kingdom of God. You will make headlines in the spirit that will inspire countless others to stand up with hope in their hearts and raise their eyes to the possibility of exploits only imagined”.
I am aware of all the words over the past decade or so about God raising up an army of young people and I affirm those words completely. But God is saying something to those over the age of 50.
